Thanks to Charlotte at Charlotte's Library for awarding me a Pertinent Posts Award. In the summer I always feel a bit... well, impertinent certainly is not the word here, but since I don't see any actual students to whom I may recommend books, I always feel adrift.I may wait until the fall to pass this on; I need to investigate more blogs. Do visit Charlotte's site, however; she has a very good discussion on gender inequities when it comes to middle grade and YA science fiction and fantasy.
