Sunday Dinner

 My weekends always revolve around food-- grocery shopping and cooking, because I refuse to cook during the week or get takeaway. Here are some brief notes on some books I've come across recently; as much as I really HATE cooking, I love to read cookbooks. No idea.

Worth buying if only for the armadillo cupcakes made with Nutter Butter cookies. Very pretty pictures, and longer than some. Definitely doable designs.

This didn't have much in the way of recipes, and was a little more polemic than I thought it would be. I eat very little meat, mainly for environmental reasons, and my college age daughter is a "nothing with a face" vegetarian who is leaning toward veganism (cheese will be an issue!), but do realize that this title has some pictures of meat processing that are a little graphic.


  1. I know! I buy/read cookbooks all the time...and then I end up just making chicken soup with whatever I can find in the fridge and eating it all week. Librarians should have a personal cook.
