Okay. But WHY?

Martin Sheen will star as Matthew Cuthbert in the upcoming two-hour TV movie Lucy Maud Montgomery's Anne Of Green Gables.

Just not understanding why it needs to be done again.

Still smarting from the ( made for t.v. ?) movie version when Gilbert was sent to WWI instead of Anne's son!

Right? I first heard of it with another pic ... where Anne basically has Princess Leia hair buns on the side of her head. And they look RIDICULOUS. My two fandoms cannot collide like that. It hurts me.
