Been having a little too much fun with this. Thought the students might need some direction on a holiday or family story that they could use for an assignment.
This started out being about my Uncle Chuck's insistence that apple pie was better, while I championed cherry. Or vice versa; I no longer remember! Of course, that didn't have enough conflict, so this is only the story I WISH had happened at my house.
And yes, my grandmother looked very much like that! And there were several creepy deer heads on the walls at my Uncle Chuck's!
