Hope over to Cybils.com to review past winners, FAQs, and category organizers. Remember, I am the Middle Grade Fiction Organizer, so if you want to avoid me, you'll have to apply for a different category.
Want to apply to be a Cybils panelist? There are lots of options, so
find one that best suits your talents and reading preferences. If you're
not sure, go back and look at the list of 2012 Cybils Winners to get an idea about what was considered the best book in each category.
Please note these changes for this year: Nonfiction categories are split differently with the Elementary/Middle- Grade Nonfiction category replacing the Nonfiction
Picture Books category and including picture books. Also, Fantasy and
Science Fiction has been changed to Speculative Fiction.
For Book Apps, it is important that panelists have consistent access to an iPad.
For the 2013 Cybils, here are the categories for which you can apply:
Book Apps
Easy Readers/Early Chapter Books
Fiction Picture Books
Graphic Novels
Elementary/Middle- Grade Nonfiction
Young Adult Nonfiction
