I love books that work well for both levels and don't feel a need to throw in a lot of profanity, etc.!Ms. Yinglinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17805324364289597178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22559214.post-4875254868698419202015-09-03T02:59:56.740-04:002015-09-03T02:59:56.740-04:00Wow, what an interesting premise. I love the juxtaposition of Irish with Iranian; sounds like the book might touch on the rather thorny question of how to define terrorism.

Is this one really middle-grade? Sounds like it could appeal to an older audience.Kim Aippersbachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02556947405633680410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22559214.post-82654953673782423532015-09-01T23:51:34.585-04:002015-09-01T23:51:34.585-04:00I almost missed the CYBILS Call for Judges - thank...I almost missed the CYBILS Call for Judges - thanks for the reminder here as well. This new novel sounds extremely interesting--how many modern MG novels have Iranians as protagonists?

And if you can, readers of this blog, I highly recommend being part of the Cybils' judging panels. Great camaraderie, and lots of excellent reading. My brother and I did something similar and so did my daughter and her friends.
