Cybils!

I hope I didn't scare people off from applying to be Middle Grade Fiction panelists the other day. There are lots of applications in, but few people choosing MGF. *Sob*

I know that speculative fiction is super cool, and that Young Adult fiction is sexy, but middle grade fiction is a lot of fun. I know a lot of readers out there read and review a lot of MGF, and I'd love to see more of you apply! You can head over here to do so.

  1. Middle grade fiction is the best!

  2. I put my name in. I think I added it as 2nd unless I messed up and made it third. I put the Apps as #1 thinking it would not be as popular, but I could have been wrong.

  3. I know I put MG speculative first, but honestly, I could go either way. If Charlotte has a TON of people for her panel and you really need/want me there, I'd be more than happy to do MG fiction again.

  4. I just filled out the form but not sure the "submit" button worked. Although, since I hit it multiple times, maybe I have applied more times than you want. If so, sorry about that. :/

I am agreeing with the fun of mg fiction. Hope my application went through. I was having a wee bit of computer issues...if computer issues can be wee.

  6. I would HAVE chosen middle grade but 150 chapter books is a daunting amount. But I will apply in another year when I know I have the time to commit to reading all those wonderful books!

  7. Reading Junky: I had the same issue to. The reason is that you have to fill out what previous year you judged a Cybil. Even if you didn't (I did not), it seems to be a required field. So I just picked the first year and then left a comment somewhere else that I didn't actually judge previously but had to fill out that part to submit.
