Errorgon by Vid Saunders

What do you get when you have a well-read teenaged boy who isn't allowed more than half an hour of screen time a day and whose mother has foolishly gotten him a subscription to Mad Magazine? Apparently, you get a graphic novel parody of Eragon, written mainly to annoy one of his friends, who is a huge fan.

While the general story line is vaguely inferior to that of The Hwacha of Darkness or Mr. Mop Man , the illustrations are much better. I guess it wasn't a bad thing for my son to schedule an art course in high school.


In order to read each panel, you'll need to click on the picture. The whole opus is about nine pages long, but this seemed like enough to give everyone a flavor.
